Weekend Wrap-Up
Jun. 6th, 2011 01:32 amIt's been a busy yet productive day. Amazingly, I managed to get everything done I needed to get done. Lunches are ready for this week, cat boxes and bird cages are cleaned out, laundry is done, bed sheets are changed, and the house has been vacuumed! Plus, I got some more reading done.
Anyway, I've bought myself some time this week now to try to get some writing done. Ann Crispin posted a link on Facebook to her blogspot post on writing productivity. Now, as every writer has their own style, Muse, and way to get that Muse to cooperate, I know that writing advice is just that: advice. Not law. Though knowing how I write and such, I think this advice might help me get back into writing regularly. Since I've gotten the house stuff caught up and have a few days where I really don't have much else to worry about after work, maybe I can jump start my writing a little.
In other news... I wonder if TomTom was hyper and decided to conquer one of his fears or if he's going senile. While I was vacuuming, there was one point where he ran up the steps, smacked the vacuum cleaner, then, realizing that it was still running and unaffected, he then had an, "Oh, shit! Need to get out of here now!" look and ran back down the steps.

Yes, they're all so miserable and mistreated. Spoiling them does that...
